What is a launch team?
It is an initial group of people who believe in the vision of Transition Church that gather for the purpose of getting it to its launch.
Why do we need a launch team?
There are many tasks and roles involved when it comes to planting a church. We believe that God created vision for people so no one person can do it alone (Ecclesiastes 4:9)!
What is expected from a launch team member?
We expect a Transition Church Launch team member to be:
Do you have to be a member of Transition Church to be a part of the launch team?
No, but we ask that you prayerfully consider if Transition Church is the right place for you. We believe that every person belongs in a biblical local church community (Psalm 92:13).
Do you have to be a Christian to be a part of the launch team?
No, but we ask that you seriously consider making Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. It’s God desire to have a personally relationship with you (John 3:16, 1 Timothy 2:4-6). As a launch team member you are not just representing Transition Church, you are representing Jesus.
Is there a financial commitment?
No, but we ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation during our church launch process.
